Aluminum Sheet Metal Fabrication for Custom Parts
RFS is a highly efficient aluminum parts manufacturer and supplier. We can process a variety of aluminum alloy grades, such as 2024/6061 and 7075. With years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and skilled aluminum machining, we ensure on-time completion of every project.
We offer custom aluminum sheet metal fabrication services based on customer drawings, ensuring aluminum parts meet expected standards. Common production processes include cutting, bending, and welding. Depending on the part’s structure and precision requirements, you can choose laser cutting, waterjet cutting, or plasma cutting. In the forming stage, we use bending equipment. Subsequently, we use TIG welding or MIG welding to assemble the components into a complete structure. RFS has complete in-house machining capabilities, efficiently completing all processes from raw materials to finished products.
Whether you only need a custom aluminum part or plan for small-batch production, we can provide the right aluminum solution for your project. Contact us for more technical information or a quick quote.
Custom Aluminum Sheet Metal Parts Fabrication
Aluminum alloys are made by adding elements such as copper, magnesium, or small amounts of iron to aluminum, thereby adjusting and strengthening the material’s properties in different directions. They are used in everything from everyday consumer goods to industrial fields. In everyday life, aluminum alloys are used in kitchenware, tableware, and aluminum exterior walls for buildings. In industrial fields, aluminum alloys are commonly used in equipment housings, mechanical parts, and electrical products.
Aluminum sheet metal parts are widely used in industries such as electrical equipment, medical devices, robotics, precision instruments, and aerospace. Our processed products cover a wide range of custom sheet metal parts, including covers, protective covers, panels, clamps, brackets, consoles, chassis, and bases.

Aluminum Alloy Classification for Sheet Metal Fabrication
- Aluminum Alloy 2024: Aluminum alloy 2024 is a copper alloy. It is relatively easy to corrode, but it has good fatigue resistance. Its tensile strength is 68,000 psi. 2024 grade aluminum is known for its strength and is often used in load-bearing structures, tool parts, and some engineering equipment.
- Aluminum Alloy 6061: Aluminum alloy 6061 is an alloy of aluminum, magnesium, and silicon. Its tensile strength is 45,000 psi. This material can be CNC machined, so it has a wide range of applications, including general manufacturing, construction, and aerospace. It is also frequently found in structural components, valves, pipes, and other products.
- Aluminum Alloy 7075: 7075 is an aluminum-zinc alloy, with aluminum and zinc as its main components. Its tensile strength is 83,000 psi. Aluminum alloy 7075 has excellent strength, flexibility, and ductility. It is often used in high-stress structures. Aluminum alloy 7075 is used in products such as golf clubs, aircraft parts, and bicycles.
- Aluminum Alloy 3003: 3003 is classified as an aluminum-manganese alloy, with aluminum and manganese as its core components. Its tensile strength is 13,000 psi. Aluminum alloy 3003 is the most widely used aluminum alloy. It is suitable for all manufacturing processes. It is frequently used in household products such as storage tanks, decorative strips, wall panels, and cooking utensils.
- Aluminum Alloy 5052: Aluminum alloy 5052 is an alloy of aluminum, magnesium, and chromium. Its tensile strength is 33,000 psi. Aluminum alloy 5052 has excellent corrosion resistance, including seawater corrosion resistance, so it is frequently used in the shipbuilding industry. In addition to its high strength, it is easy to process, making it widely used in construction, aerospace, and petroleum industries.
2024, 6061, and 7075 are all aluminum alloys whose properties can be enhanced through heat treatment. Aluminum alloys 3003 and 5052 cannot be heat-treated.
