Custom Motorcycle Parts Fabrication – RFS
Many motorcycle parts are designed around user habits, and different riding styles have different requirements for parts. Some riders prioritize weight, while others focus on structural layout, and still others optimize their riding posture by adjusting details. Standard parts may not meet all these specific needs, so many riders need custom parts. Many specific requirements for motorcycles often focus on minor structural elements, such as the mounting location of the bracket or the size specifications of the connectors. These components may seem insignificant, but even the slightest deviation in their position or size can cause malfunctions in the entire vehicle.
RFS has extensive experience in the automotive and powersports industries and can manufacture these parts per design drawings. The specific manufacturing process is not static; it is determined by the actual structural characteristics of the parts. We can provide high-precision parts manufacturing services for OEM brands and the aftermarket. Some parts are formed by CNC machining, others by sheet metal stamping and bending, and still others require a combination of manufacturing methods.
For material selection, we usually make decisions based on the intended use of the components. Aluminum is widely used for its lightweight properties; however, steel is often chosen for critical parts that need to withstand greater stress. Overall, manufacturing itself is not the biggest challenge; the key is to accurately confirm all dimensions and structural details before manufacturing, to avoid repeated adjustments in the subsequent assembly process.

Custom CNC Machining Services
RFS’s CNC machining is primarily based on drawings. Metal parts are the most common, including aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, with some plastic parts also handled. Structural or shaft-type components are frequently produced, with some functional parts. After receiving the drawings, RFS will review the key dimensions and assembly positions, pointing out any discrepancies before deciding on the machining method.

Sheet Metal Fabrication Services
RFS handles sheet metal fabrication in a fairly standard manner, including cutting, bending, and forming processes. Brackets, housings, and covers are all within their scope. Often, they don’t focus on individual processes but rather on the overall structure of the finished product to prevent dimensional mismatches later.

Sheet Metal Welding Services
Welding mainly involves assembling sheet metal structures, such as several parts forming a frame or reinforcement structure. The welding sequence is usually adjusted based on the structure, not a fixed process. After completion, they will perform minor finishing touches to smooth the appearance and remove burrs, ensuring smooth assembly later.

Laser Cutting Services
Laser cutting mainly involves sheet metal blanking and contour cutting. Flat parts or parts that will be bent or welded later can be made using this process first. It is often used for prototyping and small-batch production, mainly because it is faster and makes subsequent processes easier to connect.

Most of the motorcycle parts we manufacture are based on customer drawings and don’t have fixed model numbers.
Many parts may not look complicated individually, but the performance difference becomes immediately apparent once installed on the motorcycle.
Front and Rear Footrest Brackets, Side Supports
These components are typically fixed directly to the frame. Even minor installation errors can lead to an uncomfortable riding experience. Some customers even request size adjustments to optimize handling while riding.
Handlebar Connectors, Instrument Brackets
These components are usually located at the front of the vehicle and are in a conspicuous position. Its installation angle and position must be precise; otherwise, it will not only look crooked, but also be extremely inconvenient to use.
Exhaust Connector Sections, Mounting Brackets
Some projects don’t replace the entire set but modify a section. These are usually fitted to the existing structure, and the dimensions must match; otherwise, they won’t install.
Small Connecting Pieces, Transition Parts
Some parts connect two parts, and the intermediate dimensions need to be precisely aligned; otherwise, repeated adjustments will be necessary during installation.
Small Structural Components Used for Modification
These include adjustments to positions and structural reinforcements. Many of these are modified only after the existing components are deemed unsuitable for on-site use. There are basically no fixed types; each project is different.
Fender Supports, Side Guard Structures
These parts primarily provide support and may look simple, but if the strength is insufficient, they will deform over time.
